BEIRUT: An electric car made wholly in Lebanon has made its debut. It marks a double first for the Mediterranean country, that has never manufactured an electric car and is wracked by economic crisis and power cuts.
The “Quds Rise” as it is known, from the Arabic name for Jerusalem, is the project of Lebanese-born Palestinian businessman Jihad Mohammad.
